When plans have been made to refurbish the original building, it was planned to re-use the original aluminum façade elements. For technical and cost reasons, this plan was given up.

This is the first shopping center outside of the UK to receive the BREEAM Excellent rating.

The various angles of the panels give a nice interaction with the daily changing sunlight conditions.
