Pricing
Given the very wide permutation of alloys, dimensions, finishes and textures, it is not possible to provide indicative pricing on-line.
Typically, all-in ex-works pricing for Aloxide anodised aluminium in a natural finish will be at a modest premium to high quality PVDF painted finishes.
Special finishes with a similar aspect to stainless steel, copper, brass or zinc will be substantially more competitively priced.
Prices of aluminium products fluctuate on a daily basis in line with movements of the LME 3-month price for aluminium ingot.
Shipping
Aluminium in coil or sheet form is lightweight and typically easy to ship on pallets.
Deliveries in Europe are by road transport with a maximum shipping time of one week.
Deliveries outside Europe are made by container by ship or by rail. More urgent deliveries may be made by air freight. Please consult us for shipping times and costs to your destination.
Production
All production for customers is made to order, although some regular items may be available from stock.
We offer the following alternatives according to the customer’s request:
- Supply of anodising services on a tolling basis
- Supply of metal plus anodising
Lead times
Continuous coil anodising
(anodising only)
Where the customer provides the metal in coil form for processing, the typical turnaround time will be 2 weeks, although some special finishes - which are organised in production campaigns - will be longer
Continuous coil anodising
(metal + anodising)
Where we are required to supply the metal and the anodising, the Company is obliged to order the aluminium substrate from an aluminium flat rolled products producer. The technical delay for obtaining coils is a minimum of six weeks (special finishes may be longer) to which a maximum 2-week period for anodising must be added. Some finishes, produced in campaigns, will be longer.
Vertical
anodising
Standard size sheets are sourced from a number of different quality suppliers. Production lead times for standard sheet products will typically be a few days. Larger volumes or non-standard dimensions or finishes will be longer.
For anodising of extrusions or architectural sections, the usual production delay will be a few days.
