Whilst anodised aluminium is most often associated with large architectural surfaces, it can be very effectively used for interior design or design applications – either as a solid sheet or laminated onto other materials, such as wood. Normally, thinner gauge aluminium and a thinner anodic film layer are employed.
Today, C-Deco is available in a variety of UV proof and non-UV proof genuine metallic colours and is used for high design metallic luggage, furniture and kitchens.
These products are typically viewed at close range and , therefore, surface uniformity is critical. Continuous anodising is ideally suited to ensure perfect close range uniformity.
